Maggie Grace, who played Shannon Rutherford on Lost, takes the title role in Fiona, a horror film from Capstone Studios announced by Deadline in May 2026. Shannon didn't survive the island — Boone's spoiled sister, the fragile dancer, shot dead in the jungle in season 2. Twenty years later, Grace returns as the one who inspires the fear. Fiona adapts Knifepoint Horror, a cult podcast of terror tales written and narrated by Soren Narnia. Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact, At the Devil's Door, The Prodigy) directs from a screenplay by Justin Yoffe and Evan Hart, based on Narnia's original story.

The plot is poisonous. A lonely, divorced doctor (Steve Howey) falls for a mysterious woman in rural America, then learns the truth: she channels the raw forces of Mother Nature toward an apocalyptic purpose. He must choose — save the woman he loves, or save the world she intends to destroy. Grace plays that woman. Filming ran in Toronto from May 28 to June 26, 2026, with a theatrical release planned ahead of a streaming premiere on MGM+ — also the home of FROM, Harold Perrineau's series. The Lost thread is clean: Shannon was the character everyone thought was fragile, who turned out to hide courage and truth beneath the surface. Fiona plays on the same vertigo — a woman who seems gentle and carries the end of the world inside her. And the theme echoes the island itself: a living nature with a will of its own, able to sweep everything away. Twenty years after leaving the jungle, Maggie Grace returns to where Lost always looked — the place where the human and the natural fight for the last word.

Don’t forget — the world needs saving
