The Valenzetti Equation — why 4 8 15 16 23 42 predict the end of the world

LOSTPEDIA

Everyone knows the numbers. 4-8-15-16-23-42. The code Desmond types every 108 minutes. The losing combo Hurley played in the lottery. The sequence that opens the hatch. But few fans know what they really mean. The numbers don't come out of nowhere. They are the coefficients of an equation that predicts humanity's extinction date. Sayid and Miles on screen together — Naveen Andrews and Ken Leung star in Last Days

DEADLINE

Two survivors of the island. Two forbidden islands. One fictional, one very real. Naveen Andrews (Sayid Jarrah in Lost) and Ken Leung (Miles Straume in Lost) share the screen in Last Days, a Justin Lin film released October 24, 2025 in the United States. It's the first time since Lost that two cast members have reunited in the same project. And the subject isn't trivial: an isolated island, a man who shouldn't go there, and a community the outside world should never have disturbed.

FROM Season 4 — Harold Perrineau on the show's cruelest twist yet

COLLIDER

FROM Season 4, Episode 2 "Fray" (April 26, 2026, MGM+) delivers the show's cruelest twist yet: Jim's children Julie and Ethan stumble upon their father's desecrated body — left there deliberately by the town. Harold Perrineau (Michael Dawson in Lost) told Collider: "This town is despicable. It's horrible to do that fake-out to those kids and then have them be the ones who find him." On Boyd's mental state, he added: "If you've done everything in your power to protect your family, and it comes raging back — the desperate hopelessness you would feel is what I had to contemplate as an actor. It's hard to shake that." Perrineau told Tom's Guide the show is "figuratively and literally darker" this season. Additional twist: Fatima's baby is Smiley reborn. FROM has been renewed for a fifth and final season (2027), with Lost veterans Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender promising answers.
