Pilot, Part 1

Oceanic Flight 815 breaks apart in mid-air. The plane crashes on an unknown island. On the beach, chaos reigns. Debris everywhere. Screaming. The wounded.

A man gets up. Jack Shephard, surgeon. He doesn't think. He acts. He sutures, he stabilizes, he organizes. The survivors watch him. Without knowing it, they've just found their leader.

But the island isn't what it seems. A monstrous sound echoes through the jungle. Trees fall. Something lurks. And nobody knows where they are.
