Everybody Hates Hugo

The hatch contains a food stockpile. Canned goods, chocolate bars, cereal. Jack puts Hurley in charge of managing it. Bad idea. Hurley panics.

In flashback, Hurley relives winning the lottery. 114 million dollars. And what followed: his best friend hates him, his family tears itself apart, everyone wants a piece. Money destroyed everything. Now the food will do the same thing.

Hurley makes a decision. He gives it all away. To everyone. All at once. No rationing. No favoritism. A moment of joy on the beach. Hurley refuses to be the one who has and who gives. He just wants to be Hurley.
