Exposé

Nikki and Paulo. Two extras. Nobody knows them. Nobody cares. Then Nikki runs out of the jungle. She collapses. "Paulo lies." Dead. Apparently.

Full flashback. Nikki is an actress. Paulo is her accomplice. They killed a producer to steal diamonds. 8 million dollars. The diamonds are on the island. Paulo hid them. Nikki finds out. She releases a Medusa spider on him. The venom paralyzes for 8 hours. Looks like death. But it's not death.

Paulo falls. Nikki too — a spider bit her in turn. The camp finds them. No pulse. Sawyer throws the diamonds in the grave. "They're worthless here." They bury them. Alive. Paralyzed. Conscious. The cruelest episode of the series.
