Desmond searches for Penny. He goes to see Eloise Hawking — here Eloise Widmore. She tells him to stop searching. "You're not ready." Daniel Widmore — Daniel Faraday — gives him a notebook. Quantum physics equations. "I dreamed of a woman. Charlotte. What if all this wasn't supposed to happen this way?"

Desmond finds Penny. At the stadium. She's running the steps. He shakes her hand. Flash. He wakes up on the island. In front of Widmore. "How long?" — "A few seconds." Desmond smiles. "Let's go. I'm ready." He knows what he must do. Wake everyone up.
