Frank Lapidus

Frank was supposed to pilot Oceanic Flight 815. That day, he wasn't in the cockpit. Someone else took his place. Frank survived by absence.

He arrives on the island as the freighter's helicopter pilot. Solid. Direct. No nonsense. He flies, he drinks, he says what he thinks. The kind of guy you want in a cockpit when everything goes wrong.
