The Cost of Living

Eko is wounded. The visions begin. Yemi appears to him. His brother. The priest. The one he killed indirectly. Yemi tells him to confess. To repent. Eko stands up.

He returns to the Beechcraft. Yemi's plane. He lights a fire. The jungle stirs. The smoke monster approaches. In the form of Yemi. "Confess your sins." Eko looks at him.

"I have not sinned. I did what I had to do to survive." Eko refuses to repent. The monster grabs him. Hurls him against the trees. Again. And again. Eko dies in Locke's arms. His last words: "You're next." One of the series' most striking characters. Gone standing.
