The Lie

Hurley can't take it anymore. The lie eats away at him. He drives with unconscious Sayid in his car. Sayid has been drugged. Hurley is suspected of murder. The cops are hunting him.

On the island, another time jump. The survivors land in the middle of the night. Flaming arrows rain from the sky. They run. Frogurt takes an arrow. Dead. The group scatters into the jungle.

Hurley goes to his mother. He tells her everything. The truth. The island, the Others, the monster, the button. His mother looks at him. "I believe you." Then Hurley goes to the police. On his own. The lie stops here. For him, at least.
