Jin-Soo Kwon

Jin comes from humble beginnings. Fisherman's son. He asked Sun's father for her hand in marriage. The price: work for him. Jin didn't know that meant becoming his attack dog.

On the island, Jin doesn't speak English. Nobody understands him. He seems harsh, closed off, even violent. But it's frustration. He protects Sun in his own way. Clumsily. With everything he has.

Over time, Jin learns English. He bonds with Hurley, with Sawyer. We discover the man behind the silence. A father who never got to watch his daughter grow up. Jin dies alongside Sun. He refuses to leave her.
